Well, it’s official. It’s way easier to photograph teenagers than toddlers. Now whether parenting teenagers is easier than parenting toddlers, I will have to wait a few years to be able to tell! Anyway, these teenagers are awesome. And their parents aren’t too shabby either. Love them all. We met up to savor some sweet family moments before Michael heads off to college. Whaaaaaaa! How 18 years happens so fast is totally beyond me. Good luck Michael and hope you all enjoy the pictures!
And here they go again. Little boys growing up, graduating, moving on. How dare they! Don’t they realize that their mothers will forever picture them around age 6 or so? Riding bikes and climbing trees. Sorry, Jake, it’s just what mom’s do. Anyway, congratulations on entering your senior year of high school. I hope it’s a great time full of experience and learning new things. And next year, as you’re backpacking across Europe, in between playing bongo drums and guitar strings, send me a postcard!
Well, graduation is almost here for the Class of 2015! I’m glad Taylor was able to squeeze in some senior pics before he moves on to the next stage of his life. Amazingly enough, we dodged the rain and ended up with a great evening. Taylor has lots of plans for the future and they hopefully will eventually land him a job as a physical therapist. Good luck Taylor as you count down the days to graduation!
It always amazes me when families tell me they have never had family pictures! Do it. Do it now. Yes, the men will complain. But they will be grateful down the road! Yes, it takes a little effort to coordinate everyone. But it’s worth it! I’m so glad I was able to take pictures for this wonderful family. Hopefully, they made some good memories while we were at it. Enjoy!
So it’s these guys again! They are indeed some of my favorite people, but then again I have a lot of favorite people! It completely baffles me how many years have passed since we first became friends. To emphasize my point, I considered posting some VERY old pictures from our distant past, but then I thought better of it. Bad things can happen when you start an old photo war. Well D&C, I’m glad we missed the rain (for the most part) and had some fun roaming Nampa (the safe part). Let’s do this again in a couple of years!!
I love, love doing vintage themed shoots! Arielle had so many great ideas that it was really hard for us to narrow down all the possibilities! The vintage camera and tripod I think were especially fun, since Arielle is planning on studying photography after she graduates. She’s already come a long way and has some high hopes and dreams for a future in photography. Of course, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a selfie with an old-time camera! I hope you enjoyed being on the other side of the camera this time, Arielle. Enjoy!
Oh my goodness. I enjoyed every minute of this whimsical shoot with April! Springtime, flowers and a beautiful girl. It really doesn’t get much better than that. And can I just mention that I have a bit of hair envy? Gorgeous! April, thank you so much for putting up with the wind and some goosebumps. And heels in mud. You’re a trooper and I wish you the best as you take your next steps into the future. Enjoy!
