Well, this officially marks my last photo session in Idaho. The next pictures you see will be from the pristine shores of Hawaii!!! (so surreal to even say that) I may even change my photographic-name to something more aloha-ish! Meanwhile, I was happy to enjoy some fall color and sunny October weather with my friends the Zimms. Friends and family – they are certainly what makes leaving so heart-wrenching. Excuse me while I go find something to blow my nose into. I’m back. Enjoy!
Emma. Another beautiful senior on the edge of all that lies in front of her. We had so much fun with her shoot, thanks in part to a couple of friends providing off-camera entertainment. Laughing. Lots of it! The rain teased us a bit, but held off until the very moment we were done. Emma, it’s been so amazing watching you (and your friends!) grow up into such amazing people. You remind me of another group of three from about 20 years ago. I hope you have the best senior year ever! Enjoy!
Sweet, beautiful, talented Madison. I had such a wonderful time with her documenting this time in her life with senior pictures. We had an absolutely glorious fall morning and took about a million pictures – wish I could show you them all! Madison, I can’t wait to see where God leads you over the next few years and how He’ll put to use your many talents. Your beauty inside and out just shines in these photos. Hope you enjoy!
Well I’m sure they would disagree with me about being babies, but in my mind they will always be small enough to hold in my lap and cuddle. Like that children’s book “Love You Forever.” I seriously can’t read that without breaking into convulsive sobs, and my kids look at me like I’ve completely lost it. The same goes when I’m looking at old pictures, which I’ve been doing a lot lately trying to clean and organize and purge before we move. I’m all on track and then one box of pictures or an album sets me back about an hour and a half. And in the meantime I use up a whole box of tissues. So anyway I had to document my family for this year so that one day when I’m old I can look back on them and weep. Many thanks to my sister Leeeenda, for helping me with all those times I’m actually in front of the camera! I apologize in advance for the picture overload, but I kinda like these people:)
Well, hmm, what should I say about these people? It pretty much boils down to the fact that they’re my favorite. That’s what happens when two sisters marry two brothers (not their own brothers, you know, other brothers). Especially when the sisters are so much the same and the brothers are so much the same. Specifically, the brothers might be similar in that they don’t listen to the photographer and they make fun of her whilst she’s taking pictures! And they only eat Miracle Whip, not mayo. And they make you pay big time if you throw cups of cold water on them. And about a hundred other things. Anyway, I love you Linda and Travis and all your beautiful kiddos! Enjoy your pictures.
